Jerry Whagado


Jerry Whagado is a Yavapai-Apache, who lived his early life at Hopi, where he learned Silversmithing.  He became a teaching assistant to Silversmiths Michael Kabotie and Richard Tsosie at the Idylwild Center for the Arts in California.  Upon returning to his homeland, Jerry incorporated his native heritage into his designs.  Jerry is also very proud of his family, especially his son, world renowned silversmith, Gerald Lomaventema.
