These small triangular-shaped post earrings were created with a bird design. The feathered creatures are the "carriers" of prayers to the heavens because they fly close to Tawa, Father Sun. The posts are highly polished and measure 5/8 by 5/8 of an inch. Hopi Silversmith, Stephan Selina 's hallmark, his initials with a bear in the middle, is stamped on the back.
