This beautiful choker by Hopi Silversmith, Roy Talahaftewa
, is all about water...a life-giving force for Hopi, which is always requested in their prayers. Large raindrops appear on the top of the choker and a long feather with a coral bead is suspended below as well as a design for altar corn. At the top is a piece of Chrysoprase, a gemstone variety of chalcedony from Australia. There are four inches from eye ring to eye ring, which 8 inches of handmade silver chain attached to each side. Roy's hallmark, the Water Bug is stamped on the reverse side.
